Memorial services for Joseph "Joe" Edwin Chase, 39, of Baskin, LA are scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10 AM at Dennard Chapel Winnsboro, LA. Jeremy Asher will be officiating. Mike Galloway and Carrey Frith will be honoring Joe's life. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Friday, May 17, 2024, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
Joe was born March 23, 1985, in Norman, OK and passed from this life on May 10, 2024, outside Artesia, New Mexico where he was working as a Senior MWD Engineer in the oil field.
He was preceded in death by his older brother, Charles Daniel Chase, II; sister, Angie Elizabeth Chase and younger brother, Henry Matthew Chase.
Joe is survived by his fianc, Jessica Milburn; father, Charles Daniel Chase; beloved sister-in-law, Katie Chase; mother, Janis Newton and husband, Tom; siblings, Amber Glass (Caleb); Ashley Sherman (Josh); Christian Smith (Andrea); Brandon Smith (Christi); and Randi Krouse; nieces, Emma Kirksey, Analyse Smith and Taylor Smith and nephews Ethan Smith, Bodhi Glass, and Shipley Glass; along with a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joe's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or charity of choice.
