Joseph Leonard Pickens 86, from Newellton, La passed away November 17,2024 at his residence. Mr. Pickens was born May 28,1938 to the late Jesse and Rosalie Pickens.

Joseph loved camping, where he met his wife of 16 years, Teri. He enjoyed tinkering in the yard and loved cooking, which he was great at. Joe also loved being boss and had a great love for his fur babies Cricket and Missy.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Teri; children Jennifer Rose Work and husband Bob, Joey Pickens and wife Jenny, Rhonda Thibodeaux and partner Missy, Johnny Ray Pickens and Joseph Leander Pickens; sister Barbara Jean Manske and husband Steve; stepchildren J.T. Terry and wife Kasey, Russell Terry and wife Tina, LaDonna Welch, Laura Mosley and husband Anson, and Mary Terry. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
