Funeral services for Joyce Kay Parker, 72, of Winnsboro will be 10 am Thursday December 21, 2023, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church - Winnsboro, with Rev. Donald Hutto and Rev. Matthew Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 - 9 pm Wednesday December 20, 2023, at the church.
Joyce Kay was born March 11, 1951, in Winnsboro to the union of the late Joe LeRoy King and the late Margaret Emmer "Maggie" King; and passed from this life on December 19, 2023, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, with her family by her side.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Bonnie Rose Finch and Sandy Lea McMurray; and one brother, Rev. Ernest Oliver.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 56 years Peyton Parker, of Winnsboro; one daughter, Juanita Charlene Spencer and husband Kevin of Maumelle, AR; one son, Timothy Roy Parker and wife Alissa of Columbia; five grandchildren: Dakota Spencer, Canyon Spencer, Emaree Parker, Halle Parker, and Matthew Parker; one brother Bennie Joe Oliver and wife Lynn; one sister, Lena Guillot and husband Buddy; one sister-in-law, Louise Oliver; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Adam Carrington, Tony McMurray, Joey Oliver, Daniel Parker, Jerry Simmons, and Canyon Spencer.
Honorary pallbearer will be Heth Hutto and Matthew Parker.
