Kathy Lynne
Carson
Oct 14, 1960 — Feb 8, 2025
Funeral services for Kathy McCoy Carson, 64, of Crowville, will be 11 am Monday, February 10, 2025, at Hill Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Gallup officiating. Interment will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9 am until time of service at the church.
Kathy was born October 14, 1960, to the late Richard William McCoy and Wilma Jean McGee McCoy, and left the world on February 8, 2025, to enter the gates of her heavenly home.
Kathy along with her siblings was raised in a home full of love for Jesus Christ and family. She grew up singing her favorite hymns with her two sisters, Angela and Donna. Kathy kept her love for her Lord and singing close to her heart, and would become the choir director at Hill Ridge Baptist Church. She would joyfully lead her home church in praise every Sunday. Kathy also sang in a group of fellow church members and dear friends for many happy years.
Kathy loved her large, loud, and joyous family. She was happiest surrounded by her husband Ken, children, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and her precious mother and father. Kathy provided a loving, Christian home for her family. She raised her children with the same values that lead her to be a kind, grateful, and forgiving person. Kathy made people love her and never had an unkind word. She loved her husband and was always ready for the next adventure he dreamed up. And y'all, Ken, always had an outlandish idea; some worked and some did not, but Kathy was always there laughing and shaking her head. She was truly happy when we were happy. She loved us, and she left us grounded in our faith and rooted solidly in an amazing family to carry on her love for life.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 40 years, Kenneth Carson of Crowville; two daughters: Kallie Bamburg and husband PJ, and Kristin Babin and husband Timothy; one son, Kyle Carson and Tamrin; five grandchildren: Pacer and Paisley Bamburg, Charlie and Louie Babin, Indie Carson; mother, Wilma Jean McCoy; two sisters: Angela Jordan and husband Steve, and Donna Roberson; one brother, Barry McCoy and wife Angie, and her precious host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steven Jordan, Daryl Carson, Greg Carson, Larry Casiday, Scotty Temple, and Terry Todd.
