Graveside services for Katie Faye Byrnes Ferrington, 87, of Jonesville will be held 10 am Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at South Central Cemetery, Wisner, with Rev. Jim Savage officiating; under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro.
Faye was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Jonesville; she loved gardening and yard work.
Faye was born October 15, 1936, to the union of the late Lena Prudhomme Byrnes and the late Otis Byrnes and passed from this life June 24, 2024, after a thirty-year battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Faye is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Floyd "Timer" Ferrington; daughter Lorrie Smith; brothers: James "Preacher" Brynes and Otis J. "Bull" Byrnes; and sister Lillie Dale Smith.
She is survived by her son Floyd Ferrington (Kerry); daughter Debbie Seifert and Wanda Ferrington; sister Dottie Bolan; grand children Susan (Chris), Christopher, Timothy, Scottie, Rusty, Jeremy, Megan, and Cody; twelve (12) great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
