Obituary

George Keith Harper received the ultimate healing from his Savior on November 10th, 2024. He carried many titles in his life, including husband, son, dad, Pops, brother, uncle, and Friend. He was born on February 10th, 1977, in Delhi, Louisiana. He married the love of his life, Heidi, in 1994 and graduated from Crowville High School in 1995. He farmed for many years and remained employed in agriculture his entire life.

Keith was a kind and humble soul. He was a loyal friend and husband. He was quick-witted, slow-driving, and never turned down the chance to prank someone. He was a man of few spoken words yet a man who could text with the best of them. He loved Weatherby Rifles, feeding his deer, and the Crowville Community, where he lived for 47 years. Mostly, he loved his wife of 30 years and was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his in-laws Sarah Finley, and Fobi and Debbie Finley; grandparents Cecil and Dessie Mae Kelley; James and Shirley Harper; uncles Glenn Kelley and Donnie Harper.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Heidi, his children Kameron Harper and wife Hailey, Sarah Jackson and husband Shane, and Emily Harper, his parents Jimmy and Joyce Harper, his brother Kevin Harper (Amy), brother-in-law Heath Finley (Becky), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, pals, friends, and the grandsons who made him the happiest Pops in the world, Jude and Jones Harper.

Pallbearers will be Daryl Carson, Todd Cassiday, Patrick Finley, Kade Harper, Noah Harper, and Toby Kelley.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 12th at First Baptist Church of Wisner with Kameron Harper, Kevin Harper and Heath Finley officiating, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 1pm and the funeral service will follow at 3pm.
