Graveside services for Mr. Larry Newman, 73 of Winnsboro, LA will be 9 AM Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Providence Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Troy Dennard officiating under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.
Mr. Larry was born July 17, 1950, to the late Allen Edward Newman and the late Justine Jolly Newman, Larry enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and playing the guitar, traveling, and collecting Indian artifacts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Sharon Newman, two brothers C.E. "Buddy" Newman, and R.S. Newman, one sister Lottie Walker.
He is survived by his two sons, Anthony Newman and his wife Shandalynn, and Sean Newman and his wife Becky all of Winnsboro, LA; grandchildren, Makenzi Newman, Tristen Newman, Dempsey Newman, Aleah Newman, Noah Comeaux, and Jonah Comeaux; two sisters Marie Smith of Monroe, LA and Edna Parker of Winnsboro, LA; sister-in-law, Helen Holton Washington of Monroe, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert Campbell, Noah Comeaux, Herb Dumore, Ricky Eads, Jeffrey Parker, and Darron Walters.
