Funeral services for Linda Killingsworth, 84, of Winnsboro, will be held 2 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Fletcher officiating. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of services at the funeral home.
Linda was born May 9, 1940, in Winnfield to the union of the late Joe and Irene Davison and passed peacefully from this life on May 25, 2024, at her residence.
Linda was a graduate of Conroe High School in Conroe, TX; she then went to Durham Business College in Beaumont, TX. She retired from retail after 30 years to be a stay at home wife, mother and mam-maw.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 55 years, Donald Killingsworth; two sisters; Elaine Price and Annette Kaufman, and brother-in-law W. T. Thomas (Heart) Kaufman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Donna Hawthorne and son, Daryl Killingsworth; four grandchildren: Colby Hawthorne, Brooke Hawthorne, Ashleigh Killingsworth, and Kaitlyn Killingsworth; nephews: Cass Kaufman, David DeBlieux, and Devin DeBlieux; one niece, Denise DeBlieux; and a host of other family and friends.
