Funeral services for Linda Sweet, 73, of McComb, MS formerly of Wisner will be held 11 am Saturday, February 22, 2025, at First Baptist Church, Wisner, with Rev. Thomas Peoples and Rev. Garrison Griffith officiating. Interment will follow in Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9 am until time of service at the church.

Linda was born October 11, 1951, in Sikeston, MO to the union of the late Alfred Emanuel Higgerson and the late Edna Lee Parent Higgerson and passed from this life on February 16, 2025, in McComb, MS.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Terry Sweet, and brother, Alfred "Bo" Higgerson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Paul Sweet and fiancé Meleighah Stephens of Springhill; daughter, Carrie Sweet LeJeune and husband Michael of Kentwood; sister, Cindy Roberts and husband Robbie of Gilbert; six grandchildren: Belle Sweet, Brittany Stephens, A. J. Stephens, Brenan Foster, Brennan LeJeune, and Avery LeJeune; two great grandchildren: Greer Gillespie and Crew Burns; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Carey "Mugs" Cheek, Carlos Delgado, Carl Haring, Pat Scott, Walter Smith, and Matt Stephens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of First Baptist Church, Wisner.
