Funeral services for Linda Faye McMurray Waller, 67, of Calhoun, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the Chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro, with interment following at Harris Cemetery; visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro.Linda was born August 15, 1956, in Winnsboro, to the union of the late John William McMurray and the late Lillie Mae Nichols McMurray, and passed from this life at home, November 4, 2023, surrounded by her family.Linda, a dedicated homemaker, was a loving wife and mother, always cooking and caring for her family and friends, her garden was her pride and joy (having her children up before daylight to pick vegetables with the dew still on the ground).Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph Parker, and sister Betty Retherford.Linda is survived by her daughters: Brandy Parker (Zach Welch) and Katy Taylor (Travis Simpson); grandchildren: Anthony Lemoine (Makayla), Aaron Lemoine, Addyson Taylor, Jaxon Taylor, Sadie Taylor, and Audrey Welch; great-grandson Colter Lemoine; siblings Tommy McMurray (Sherrie), James McMurray (Karen), Judy Talley, and Jean Crain (Doug).Pallbearers are Aaron Lemoine, Anthony Lemoine, Jaxon Taylor, Jay Thames, Travis Simpson, and Zach Welch.Honorary pallbearers are Maverick Lemoine and Colter Lemoine.Online registry/condolences at www.dennardfirstnational.com
