Visitation will be at 1:00pm, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Dennard First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Pallbearers will be David Leslie, Jacob Leslie, Paul Rogers, and Bubba Bozeman. Linda wished to have Marion Reagan and Roger Grayson as Honorary Pallbearers.

Linda passed away on January 31, 2026, in Winnsboro, Louisiana. She was born in Winnsboro to Eunice and Edgar Jones on November 14, 1945. She married John Kenneth Zumbro on July 25, 1961, in Hamburg, Arkansas.

Linda worked various jobs throughout her life, but her focus was always on her family.  Her greatest joy was being a mother to her daughter Kristi. She loved her fiercely. She also adored her son-in-law David and loved him like her own. But, her pride and joy was her grandson Jacob; he affectionately called her Memom. She always loved fishing; some of her favorite fishing trips were with Jacob in the summers when he visited during "Camp Baskin".  Linda loved working in her yard, where she and Kenneth built their home and raised a family.  Linda was known to have the prettiest yard in Baskin, and each year she put the hours of hard work in to be proud of her property and enjoy it with family and friends. A constant in her life was her many dogs, which gave her great enjoyment.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Eunice and Edgar Jones, husband John Kenneth Zumbro, one brother Denon Jones, and numerous relatives.

Linda is survived by her daughter Kristi Leslie and son-in-law David, one grandson Jacob Leslie and his wife Bailee, and one great-granddaughter, Fletcher Leslie. Linda is also survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family of Linda wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Colvin and Hospice TLC, Plantation Manor Nursing Home, the friends and caregivers of the Baskin community, sister-in-law Beverly Rogers, friend Diane McClellan, family friend Jennifer Oswalt whom she loved like a daughter, and special friend and caregiver, Don Sebren.

Memorials may be given to Delta Humane Society of Louisiana (paypal.me/dhsla).
