Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd D. Walters, 74, of West Monroe, LA will be 2 PM Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Chapel, Winnsboro, LA with Rev. Troy J. Dennard officiating, interment to follow in Holly Grove Cemetery, Wisner, LA. visitation will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the funeral home. All under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro.
Lloyd was born July 4, 1949, to the union of the late Glydia McManus Walters and the late Robert Clinton Walters, and passed from this life April 13, 2024, at Glenwood Hospital in West Monroe.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, son Lloyd Sammy Walters, brother Author Korn, and sister Fredia Nell Poole.
Survivors are his wife of fifty-five (55) years Tiney Walters of West Monroe; daughter, Sandy Bryan of West Monroe; twin brother Lynn Walters Chatham, LA; sisters: Audrey Caldwell of MS, Dorothy Caldwell of Wisner, Cindy Gunn (Johnny) of Wisner, and Judy Lively of Wisner; grandchildren Katie Palma, Michael Walters, Andrew Walters, and Logan Walters; eight (8) great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews; his fur babies, Ruby, Sister, Little Girl, Bailey, and Little Man; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers are Michael Walters, Andrew Walters, Logan Walters, David Rials, Justin Ross, and Kay Frith.
