Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Nell Smith, 93 of Winnsboro, LA will be 2 PM Wednesday January 7, 2026, at Dennard First National Chapel with Bro. Scott Fletcher officiating, visitation will be 1 PM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home, interment will follow in Myrtle Memorial Cemetery Winnsboro, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro.

Margie was a member of Temple Baptist Church, she enjoyed her family, flower gardening, cooking the very best meals, and especially BINGO. She was preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Nancy Stewart, her husband William E. "Son" Smith, and her daughter Sandy Gail Smith.

Mrs. Margie is survived by two sons, Glenn Smith and wife JoAnn, and Tracy Smith and Wife Lisa: grandchildren, Angela Whittle, Tina Lynn Campbell and (Jeremy), Tabitha Lee Smith, Trey Smith and (Cierra), Alli Smith, Emily Smith, and numerous great grandchildren, two sisters, Jeannette Peniley, and Linda Sirrons, and several half brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Campbell, Daniel Courson, Isiah Patience, Trey Smith, Zach Smith, and Richard Wilkerson.
