Services for Marie Hatten, 71, of Columbia will be held at a later date under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Marie was born June 26, 1949, in Winnsboro to the union of Allen L. and Helen O. Oliver McKinzy and passed from this life on August 4, 2020, at her residence in Columbia.
Marie enjoyed spending her time in her flower garden, thrift shopping and outdoors.
She is preceded in death by her father and brother Wallace McKinzy.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 52 years Nolan L. Hatten; two sons, Martin Wayne Hatten and Chris Hatten of Columbia; two daughters: Bonnie Ferguson and husband Timothy of Columbia and Donna Hatten of Winnsboro; mother, Helen McKinzy of Winnsboro; three grandchildren: Paul Ferguson (Lauren), Michael Ferguson, Shae Cato (Jake); seven great grandchildren; one brother: Allen McKenzie; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
