Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Margie Ross will be 2 PM Friday, October 31, 2025, at Boeuf River Baptist Church with Dr. Clovis Sturdivant officiating interment to follow in Ogden Cemetery, visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Mrs. Margie a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church was born November 12, 1930, in Swampers, LA to the union of the late Eugene Sturdivant and the late Zelia Clark Sturdivant, where she lived most of her life, and passed away October 26, 2025, at her residence. She was a retired certified nursing assistant and enjoyed helping others, and her dog.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Thomas Temple and Sidney Ray Ross, a son Tommy Gene Temple, and a daughter Janice Temple Rider, five sisters and one brother.

Those left to cherish her memory and sense of humor are her Daughter Genelle Ross of Liddeville, LA; and her son Gerald Ross of Winnsboro, LA; granddaughter Jaime Smith of Start, LA; grandson Jarrod Ross Smith and Monica of San Antonio, TX, Jennifer Rider, David Rider and Paul Rider; great grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Amber Smith, Sandee Chandler, Talynn Smith, and Jonathan Rider as well as several great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Graham, John Graham, Randy Graham, Brent Saltzman, Hunter Smith and Jarrod Ross Smith.
