Graveside services for Michael D. Younker, 69, of Lone Gove, OK will be 2 pm Monday October 28, 2024, at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, with Rev. Ray Jennings officiating.

Michael was born March 30, 1955, in Vandalia, IL to the union of the late Ralph Rainey Younker and Lovetta June Troxell Younker and passed from this life on October 19, 2024, at Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

My dad was a man who loved his family deeply, even if he wasnt always present in the way I wished he could be. He had a heart full of love, though sometimes that love was expressed from a distance. His love for family was evident in the stories he shared and the memories he cherished. He often spoke of the joy his family brought him, even when he wasnt there to witness it firsthand. He always longed of better days when he could show just how much family meant to him. In remembering my dad, I choose to focus on the good, the laughter, the shared moments, and the hopes he had of the future. His dreams and aspirations for me mirrored the love he felt in his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother Ralph Younker.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy Younker of Winnsboro; his daughter, Krysta Younker Caves and husband Brian of Winnsboro; one grandson, Brendan Jones; five sisters; one brother; and a host of other family and friends.
