Homegoing services for Oliver "Bubba" Miles, 63, of Winnsboro will be held 10 am Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Chase Apostolic Christian Church with Rev. Billy Martin and Rev. Michael Couch officiating. Visitation will be 5 - 7 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the church.
Bubba was born March 17, 1962, in Dumas, AR, to the late William Geffie Miles and Mary Louise Marshall Miles and passed from this life on November 28, 2025, at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.
Bubba was a member of Chase Apostolic Christian Church; he was long time owner and operator truck driver. Bubba enjoyed collecting old money and antiques, fishing and spending time with his family. He was always playing pranks or jokes on someone.
He is preceded in death by his father; uncle, Charles Marshall, and two brothers-in-law: Donald Crain and Frankie Harris.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 46 years Kathy Miles of Winnsboro; his mother, Mary Louise Day of Sterlington; four daughters: Jessica Miles, Alicia Miles McMurray, Sarah Miles Hawthorne and husband Adam, and Wendi Miles; three sisters: Debra Harris, Shelia Caudillo and husband Tito, and Risa Rivers and husband Brian; one brother, Johnny Miles and wife Becky; two sisters-in-law Darlene Crain and Bonnie Hutto; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nephews who were his best friends and were like his children; a host of nieces, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kolton Harris, Dub Harris, Shane Harris, Carson Hawthorne, Ryder McMurray, and Bryce Miles.
