Funeral services for Patricia "Pat" Ellerbe, 70, of Gilbert, will be 2 PM Monday, December 11, 2023, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. Fran Guy officiating. Interment will follow in Oakley Cemetery, Gilbert. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service at the funeral home.
Pat was born May 23, 1953, in Winnsboro to the union of the late Edward Ray Ezell and the late Ann Dearing Ezell and passed from this life on December 8, 2023, at Legacy Nursing Center in Winnsboro.
Pat was a member of Gilbert Methodist Church. She loved sewing, crafting, and working puzzles. She began singing and playing the piano at the age of four. She also enjoyed going out to eat with her family at Ducks Nest.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael "Busch" Ellerbe; first husband, Gary Easterling.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three children: LeAnn Easterling of Gilbert, Christy Medders and husband David of Mangham and Gary "Chad" Easterling and Jessica of Chase; one sister, Jean Carroll and husband Glen of Gilbert; two grandchildren: Madeline Martin and Dalton Easterling; one great grandson, Kayden Martin; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and host friends.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Carroll, Glen Carroll, Michael Carroll, Carey Joe Ellerbe, Andy Hazel, David Medders, Jr., Jimmy Price, and Trey Price.
Honorary pallbearers will be Stacy Calhoun, Dalton Easterling, Ed Ellerbe, Jackie Fuller, and Kayden Martin.
Any planned memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, The American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice.
