Pauline Williamson

Graveside service for Pauline Williamson, 94, of Baskin, will be 2 pm Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Lone Cedar Cemetery with Rev. Brian Rogers officiating under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the funeral home.

Pauline was born April 21, 1932, in Baskin to the late Charles Bradley and the late Ira Bradley Goodman, and passed from this life on September 24, 2026, in Jackson, MS.

Pauline loved God; because of how she loved God Pauline was able to love others unconditionally. Her children were her life, if you were to ask her who was her favorite she would tell you that the one who was the most ill at the time was her favorite, she loved all of them the same. She enjoyed cooking and tending to her yard. According to her granddaughter, Jennifer, Pauline was the definition of what a homemaker truly was; at one time there probably isn’t anyone in Baskin that she had not cooked for or fed. When asked what was something she would like to do if she were able her answer was travel to a foreign country to love on and feed the children in need.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jim Williamson; two sons: Jimmy Ray Williamson and Mark Williamson; and two sisters: Charlene Black and Dorothy Curtis.

Those left to cherish her memory include her seven sons: Sidney Williamson, Lavelle Williamson, Ralph Williamson, Wayne Williamson, Gary Williamson, David Williamson, and Paul Williamson; one daughter, Marsha Taylor; special sisters-in-law, Melba and Viola; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family request that any planned memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Feed the Children.
