Funeral service for Phillip Southern, 35 of Winnsboro will be held at 2 PM Monday, May 13, 2019 in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Rev. Kevin Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 PM at the funeral Home.

He was born on October 21, 1983 in Monroe and passed from this life Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jo Hamby Southern, Hunter Pete Etheridge and Gloria June Tarver ; his father-in-law Randle Lee and cousin Nikki Etheridge.

Mr. Southern is survived by his wife Trish Lee Southern; three children Hannah Lee, Drake Randall Southern and Collier Bradley Southern; mother Alice Etheridge all of Winnsboro; father David Southern of Vidalia; mother-in-law Clara Lee; two brothers Terence Hill and wife Rachel of Fort Necessity and their children Macey, Madison and Mollie; Jay Neal and wife Ginger of Winnsboro and their children Morgan and James. He is also survived by his grandmother Susan B. Mayeux; grandfather James Southern; aunt and uncle Andrea and Brad Etheridge; three cousins Kallie, Jason and Bradley Grant; and many friends.
