Funeral services for Ralph Edward Campbell Sr., age 68, of Winnsboro, Louisiana, will be 10 AM Monday, July 27, 2026, at Jigger Aposolic Church with Rev Hurby Hitt and Rev Danny Davis officiating interment to follow in Gardens of Memories Jigger, visitation will be 5-8 PM Sunday, July 26, 2026, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro. He passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on May 3, 1958, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, Ralph was a man of many talents and wore many hats throughout his life. He worked as a mechanic, oil field consultant, truck driver, and was truly a jack of all trades. If something needed fixing, Ralph could figure it out. His strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
More than anything, Ralph loved spending time with the people he loved. Whether he was fishing, enjoying a beautiful day on the lake, pulling the kids on tubes, riding motorcycles, or simply gathering with family and friends, he embraced every opportunity to make memories. Ralph never met a stranger and was often the life of the party. His laughter, stories, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Jada Wall Campbell, children: Ralph Campbell Jr. (Christi), Jessica Rodgers (Wade), Lucas Baskin (Marki), Samantha Halstead (Ray), and extra daughter Lyndsey Carter; he was called Papaw and Pop by his 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, PeeWee Campbell, Ricky Campbell, Barbara Stephens, and Jeanine Campbell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Hiram "J.H." Campbell and Edith McCoy Campbell; his brothers, Robert Campbell, Russell Campbell, Roland Campbell, Henry Campbell, and Jerry Campbell; and his sisters, Vickie Simons, Debbie Campbell, and Mary Campbell.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Justin Gallagher, Lil Ricky Campbell, Johnathan Campbell, Doyle Campbell, Chancey Campbell, and Jeffery Stephens. Honorary pallbearers are his brothers, PeeWee Campbell and Ricky Campbell.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice TLC and Sister Debbie Harris for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided during Ralph's final days. Your love and dedication brought comfort to both Ralph and his family and will never be forgotten.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing Ralph lived life to the fullest. His legacy of hard work, generosity, laughter, and love for family will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
