Graveside services for Ralph Edwin Donnell, 82. Of Crowville, LA will be 10 AM Monday June 2, 2025, at Crowville Masonic Cemetery, with Rev. Stephen Rainwater, Rev. Josh Ashley, and Rev. Marion Collier officiating, with interment to follow in Cemetery. Under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Mr. Ralph was born February 16, 1943, in Kings Hospital Winnsboro, LA to the late Florabelle Holloway Donnell and the late John Curtis Donnell that lived north of Crowville, LA.

He became a barber after high school for several years; he then went to work for oil companies as a mudlogger. Later in life he raised catfish and processed deer. He was an avid deer hunter and loved the outdoors. If it walked, swam or crawled he would hunt it. He also loved talking about his grandchildren and was very proud of them.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Shelia Kay Donnell Blackmon.

Those left to cherish his memories and share his stories include his daughter Donna Donnell Collins and her husband Mike of Crowville, LA; grandchildren Amanda Collins Fisher and husband Jeff of Plano, TX, Emily Collins Wiygul and husband Richie of Brandon, MS, Megan Collins Haviaras and husband Nick of Fort Worth, TX, Kayson Blackmon Daniel and husband Blake of Start, LA; grandsons, Justin Collins and Russ Wyatt of Crowville, LA; great grandchildren, Madi Fisher, and Carson Fisher of Plano, TX, Bailey Wiygul and Liam Wiygul of Brandon, MS, Hazel Haviaras of Fort Worth, TX, and Tatum Daniel of Start, LA; a brother, John Thomas Donnell and wife Sue Riser Donnell of Flagstaff, AZ; nephew Jon Jeffery Donnell and wife Amy of Scottsdale, AZ,; niece Angie Donnell Officer and husband David of Great Falls, VA; and numerous first cousins from the Donnell and Holloway families too many to mention.
