Funeral services for Ralph G. Netherland, Sr., 82, of Winnsboro will be 2 PM Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Dennard, Rev. Ray Jennings and Jake Thompson officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakley Cemetery, Gilbert.  Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM Friday March 27, 2026, at the funeral home.

Ralph was born April 24, 1943, in Winnsboro to the union of the late John Lockwood Netherland and the late Flossie Lee Robinson and passed from this life on March 23, 2026, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.

Ralph was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty Netherland; beloved in laws Alice and James Delaney; daughter Joyce Netherland, and sister, Bessie Avis Croke.

Those left to cherish his memory include his three children: Kay Thompson and her husband Todd of Baskin, Loyce Ferrington and her husband Phillip of Wisner, and Ralph "Bubba" Netherland, Jr. of Winnsboro; four grandchildren: Matt Ferrington and his wife Andrea, Zack Ferrington and his wife Mariana, Jake Thompson and his wife Camryn, Kaci "JoJo" Smith and her husband Jerry; five great grandchildren: Hunter Smith, Blaze Ferrington, Braxton Ferrington, Madz Ferrington, Kayla Fairchild; a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Matt Ferrington, Zack Ferrington, Jake Thompson, Hunter Smith, Blaze Ferrington, and Braxton Ferrington.

Honorary pallbearers will be Madz Ferrington, Vince Woolridge, Paul Handlin, and Keith Neilson.
