Tommy Cotton officiating; interment will follow in Chase Cemetery; visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 09, 2024, at the funeral home. All under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro.Randy, a truck driver, was born August 10, 1960, to the union of the late James Oliver Peavy and the late Stella Marie Breeden Peavy, and passed to his heavenly reward February 6, 2024, at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.Randy was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved deer hunting; he loved his family; and if you weren't his family, he made you family.Randy is preceded in death by his parents; Sisters: Audrey Robinson, Judy Bello, and Reba Lee; brother James Devon Peavy; stepsons: Tracey Dubree and Jeffery 'Bubba' Hitt; and the mother of his children Debra 'Debbie' Mayo.Randy is survived by his wife Lynn Peavy; son Randy Wayne Peavy, Jr. (Cheryl); Daughter Brandie Peavy Foster (Pruitt); sister Shelia Peavy; brothers: John 'Repete' Peavy (Georgie) and Jackie Oliver Peavy (Beverly); Stepdaughters: Tina Smithart and Elizabeth Higgins (Daryl); stepson Christopher McMurray (Chelsea); a very special friend Belinda Williams; eleven (11) grandchildren; six (great-grandchildren); many nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.Pallbearers will be Jason Barnes, Justin Calhoun, Jimbo Combest, Larry Hayden, Gerald McMurray, Tony McMurray, Eddie Quimby, and Shane Whittington.Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Albritton, Carlo Sciara, Brad Herrington, and Jason McMurray.Online registry/condolences at www.dennardfirstnational.com.
