Funeral services for Mrs. Raye E. McMurray, 78 of Winnsboro, LA will be 2 PM Saturday, April 12, 20025, at Temple Baptist Church Winnsboro, LA with Rev. James Busby officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time at the church, interment to follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery Winnsboro, LA, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA

Mrs. Raye a member of Temple Baptist Church and a retired RN working at Franklin Medical Center and then Franklin Parish Health Unit, was born August 23, 1946, in Roger City, MI and went to meet her Lord April 9, 2025, in Monroe, LA.

She was preceded in death by her father Paul Heller, and her mother Adeline Wiltshire and stepfather Donald Wiltshire.

Raye is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Bobby R. McMurray; a son, Michael McMurray; daughter, Melissa McMurray all of Winnsboro, LA; grandchildren, Mason McMurray, Mallory McMurray, Christopher Cook, and Emily Cook; brother, Mark Heller and his wife Mary of South Bend, IN.; brother-in-law, Bunny McMurray and his wife Patricia of Winnsboro, LA; and several nieces and nephews.
