Celebration of Life services for Dr. Ron Morgan, 70, of Winnsboro, will be 2 PM Wednesday November 22, 2023, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. George Ferrington officiating. Visitation will be from 1 PM until time of service.Dr. Morgan was born September 24, 1953 in Lafayette to the union of the late Clayton Morgan and the late Annie Ruth McNeely Morgan; and passed from this life on November 20, 2023, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.Dr. Morgan was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Winnsboro. He served people by doctoring for over 40 years. He was an avid deer and duck hunter.He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Tommy Morgan.He is survived by his wife Dr. Courtney Morgan of Winnsboro; five children: Clay Morgan (Bridgette) of Bossier City, Sophie Morgan, Esme Morgan, Abby Campbell (Drew) all of Winnsboro, and Dakota Skipper; four grandchildren: Garrett Morgan, Logan Smith, Maliea Morgan, and Steiner Keene; two brothers: Jeff Morgan and wife Teresa of Lawtey, FL and Paul Morgan and wife Dorothy of Pineville; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of friends and beloved patients.Online condolences may be made at www.dennardfirstnational.com
