Rosemary Hendrix, age 85, passed away at her residence in Mangham on September 18, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Mangham Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Aultman and Dr. Alan Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Lynn Cemetery under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:00 AM, before the service.

Rosemary was born to Eurtis Traxler Merchant and Earl Merchant, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, J. L. Hendrix; her son, Daniel Hendrix and wife Mary; her daughter, Donna Hendrix and husband Iain; her granddaughter, Morgan Hollis and husband Matthew; and her great-granddaughter, Rosemary Hollis. She is also remembered fondly by her extended family, including cousins, brothers and sisters in law, and many dear friends.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosemary lived a life marked by faith, service, and love. She was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church before moving to Mangham, where she became a cherished member of Mangham Baptist Church. Her professional life was equally dedicated-she worked at Franklin State Bank for 46 years.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Hollis, Iain Arnell, Jerry Gandy, Robert Harwell, Marlin Valentine, and Larry Romero.

Rosemary's legacy of faith, family, and service will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
