Mr. Roy Lane Rushing died peacefully at his home, November 9, 2023, in Crowville, at the age of 61. Visitation will be 1 2 PM Friday November 10, 2023, at Lone Pine Baptist Church with memorial services immediately following, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Roy Lane was born July 2, 1962, to the union of the late Marion Riley "Son" Rushing and the late Ruby Marie Ulmer Rushing and passed peacefully on November 9, 2023.

Roy Lane was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He is preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings: Marion "Pee Wee" Rushing, Ella Joyce Shirley, Jimmy Dale Rushing, Martha LaBorde, Mary Jo Clifford, infant Robbie Lynn Rushing, and Elaine Dumas, father and mother-in-law Floyd and Helen Carroll.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Tammy Rushing of Crowville; two sons, Chris and Blake Rushing both of Crowville; two grandchildren, Cameron and Sarah Rushing; two brothers, Douglas "Rabbit" Rushing and wife Shirley, Robert Rushing and wife Jerri Lane all of Crowville; one sister, Donna Martin and husband Wayne of Crowville; brothers-in-law Ricky Carroll and wife Terri, John Carroll, David Carroll, and Eddie Bo Carroll and wife Debbie; sister-in-law, Terri Gallagher and husband Richard; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
