Funeral services for Mr. Russell Ensminger, 81, of Wisner, LA will be 2 PM Sunday,

September 22, 2024, at South Central Baptist Church Wisner, LA with Rev. Larry Eubanks officiating interment to follow in South Central Cemetery Wisner. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Saturday September 21, 2024, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA

Russell "Papaw" the kindest dearest man, loved by all who met him, as he loved them. A Deacon and member of South Central Baptist Church was born July 22, 1943, to the union of late Peanut and Eliza Ensminger in Wisner, LA and passed away September, 19, 2024, in Pine Bluff, AR. was always piddling and working on something. He was also a retired Volunteer Fire Chief for Wisner Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife Linda Ensminger.

Mr. Russell is survived by three daughters, Paula Kersee of Bryan, TX, Teena Oswald of Rayville, LA and Cherri Ensminger Miller of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Cody Isom and his wife Heather, Courtney Smith and her husband Torrance, Kris Oswald, Derrick Huber and his wife Kandi, Tristan Oswald and his wife Caroline, Kameron Miller and Kaden Miller; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Koltyn Huber, Austin Isom, Cody Isom, Kaden Miller, Kameron Miller, and Kris Oswald.

Honorary Pallbearers are Derrick Huber, and Tristan Oswald.
