Shirley G. Jackson Baskin, LA

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Shirley Jackson, 85, of Baskin, LA will be at 2PM Friday, December 10, 2021 at Dennard First National Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Reagan Cemetery in Baskin, LA. Pastors Daniel and Dani Hawks will officiate. Visitation will be 6-8PM on December 9,2021, at the funeral home. All services are under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of others. All who entered her house were made to feel like family. She had a special love for her grandchildren and always spent time with them.

Mrs. Shirley, a member of Family Community Church of the Nazarene, was born September 11,1936 in Winnsboro, LA to the union of the late Abram Gould and the late Georgie Taylor Gould and passed from this life on December 7, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eubie Jackson and daughter-in-law, Sandy Braswell Jackson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Myra Noble and husband Paul of Arlington, TX, Diane Garner and husband Mike of Jigger, LA, Steve Jackson and wife Kim of Winnsboro, LA, Debbie Jackson of Baskin, LA, Sherman Jackson and wife Emmie of Winnsboro, LA, Dale Jackson of Baskin, LA, Sherry Williams and husband Tracy of Mangham, LA and Crystal Gibson and husband Bob of Baskin, LA; brother Carnis Gould of Winnsboro, LA; sister, Faye Loyd and husband Tommy of Jigger, LA; her adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
