Obituary

Funeral services for Sis. Aline McMurray, 86, of Chase will be 10 am Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Chase Pentecostal Church with Rev. Billy Martin, Rev. David Poole and Rev. Clay Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 pm Tuesday July 2, 2019, until time of services Wednesday.
Sis. Aline was born September 8, 1932, in Winnsboro and passed from this life on June 30, 2019, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
She was a member of Chase Pentecostal Church; she was a pastors wife along with being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking taking care of her family, friends and strangers that came into her life.
Sis. Aline is preceded in death by her parents, Whitt Driggers and Ava Lofton Driggers; husband, Rev. Ray McMurray; daughter, Sandra Kay Richmond; grandsons: James David Richmond, Joel Allen Richmond and Tyler Lee; brother, Fred Driggers and sisters, Tinker Carroll Modessa Newman.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include four children: Ronnie McMurray, of Winnsboro, Steven Ray McMurray of Chase, Tressia Lynn Richmond of Raymond, MS, and Shonnie Lee of Chase; brothers Drew McMurray of Chase, James Ray McMurray of Newellton, and Rodney McMurray of Winnsboro; and sister, Ava Nell Merritt of Newellton; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Hitt, Cameron Lee, Brad McMurray, Chris McMurray, Eric McMurray, Mark McMurray, Todd McMurray and Ryan Richmond.
Honorary pallbearers will be Colton McMurray, Tony McMurray and Matt Richmond.
