Funeral services for Susie Higgins, 81, of Winnsboro, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2024, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, with Rev. Kevin Bates and Rev. Rodney Ratcliff officiating, with interment following in Harris Cemetery; visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m.; all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro.

Susie was born January 24, 1943, in Winnsboro, to the late David Lively and the late Laney Henry Lively, and entered into eternal rest October 3, 2024, at Plantation Manor Nursing and Rehab in Winnsboro.

Susie, a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church, was employed by LaSavilla Garment Factory; she enjoyed crafting and festivals.

She is preceded in death by husbands Roland Campbell, Sr. and Charles Higgins, Sr; great-granddaughter Katherine Diane Tolbert; four brothers and one sister.

Susie is survived by three daughters: Pat Southern and Mike of Winnsboro, Pam Jones and husband Mike of Baskin, Lynn Phillips and husband Keith of Baskin; one son Roland Campbell, Jr. and wife Michelle of Winnsboro; grandchildren: Heather Liles and husband Mark, Jr., Ashley Anderson and husband Jerred, Sierra Talbert and husband Billy, Michael Jones, Jr., Ryan Emfinger and wife Ashley, Rebecca Tolbert and husband Trevor, Chelsey Campbell, and Hagen Fleming and husband Chris; eighteen (18) great-grandchildren; brother Truman Lively and wife Lois of Winnsboro; a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers are: Ryan Emfinger, Emmett Greer, David Guimbellot, Todd Guimbellot, Nick Jones, Ken Southern, and Billy Talbert.
