Teresa Lynn “Havard” Tyler was born on May 4th 1968, in Wilkinson County, Mississippi to her parents Brenda Delores Carney and Sammy Havard and passed away October 9, 2026, in Natchez, Mississippi.

She was a beautiful, loving, caring mother, daughter, nanny, sister, and friend. She had the biggest heart, the best hugs, the most contagious smile, and caring soul. Her children and grandchildren were the greatest gift to her, the light of her life, and she thought the world of them. She cared for and loved her Dad dearly, and Her Dad loved and cared for her deeply too. Her sister was her best friend and her niece, and nephews were precious to her. She loved all of her family whole heartily. She loved Jesus and talked about God daily, reminding those around her of His goodness. She made sure everyone around her knew how special they were to her. She took the time to talk to everyone she came across and to give them a hug. She loved the time she had with her family and cherished every moment. She will forever be in our hearts and will always be remembered for her beautiful soul.

She is preceded in death by her mother Brenda Dolores Carney, her late husband Michael Todd Tyler, niece Emerald Wheeler and aunt Patricia Evans.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her son Zane Tyler and fiancé Heather Waller, Daughter Kayla Nielsen and husband Joey Nielsen, grandchildren Aaron Nielsen, Peyton Nielsen, Cole Nielsen, Allie Nielsen, Eli Tyler, Sutton Tyler, and Ellison Chapman. Father Sammy Havard, sister Margie Bass, Brother Scott Ham, nephew Jones Scott, great nephews Josh Bass, Korey Bass, Bowen Scott, and Payton Scott.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Nielsen, Peyton Nielsen, Cole Nielsen, Eli Tyler, Zane Tyler, Joey Nielsen, Cole Cupit, Ty McCurley, and Justin Robbins.
