Funeral services for Mr. Thomas J. Coronado, 82, of Baskin, LA will be 11 am Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Baskin Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Rogers officiating, with interment to follow in Gwin Cemetery Mangham, LA. Visitation will be 10-11 AM at Baskin Baptist Church, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA.Mr. Thomas was a member of Baskin Baptist Church and also attended Union Presbyterian Church Baskin, LA. He was a pipeline engineer with Ford Bacon and Davis and retired from Hatch Mott McDonald traveling all over the country. He loved Dove hunting, yardwork and attending Fish Fries with the Garden Club.He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Ethel Coronado, his wife Emma Jean Coronado, and is survived by his daughters, Angie Matthews of Monroe, LA, Kendra Phillips of Baskin, LA and Lori Cheek and her husband Ryan of Reston, VA; grandchildren, Michael Phillips and Rusty Phillips; two sisters Glynda Nixon of Baskin, LA and Ruby Case and husband Melvin of Baskin, LA, and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Heath Davis, Chris Jackson, Larry Jackson, Tony Jackson, Matthew Morton, and Tim Lord.Honorary Pallbearers are Archie Evans and Marion Reagan.
