Graveside services for Timothy Lance Chapin, 35, of Baton Rouge, LA will be 11:30 AM Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Chase Cemetery in Chase, LA with Rev. Ray Jennings officiating. Interment to follow services, visitation will be from 10 am - 11 AM at the funeral home all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Winnsboro, LA.
Lance grew up in North Louisiana, he picked up skateboarding at a very young age. Through skateboarding Lance traveled the country and made many friends along the way. Lance never met a person that didn't like him. He was sponsored by the Killing Floor Skateboarding and Vans. He was currently living in Baton Rouge; LA and he enjoyed coming up and spending time with his family and especially his nephew Dalton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Chapin; maternal grandparents, O. M. Hill and Fannie Wallace Hill.
Lance is survived by his mother Anna Parker and her husband Jeff; sister Leslie Fitzwater and her husband Rush, and nephew Dalton Fitzwater; paternal grandmother, Patsy Payne, uncle, Jerry Chapin, and aunt, Gloria Harper and numerous cousins and family.
Pallbearers will be Randy Branch, Ryan Dickey, Steve Harper, Caleb Hill, Coby Hill, Cooper Hill, Gregory L. Hill, Camron Johnson, and Jose Rojas.
Honorary Pallbearers are Rush Fitzwater and Greg Hill.
