Memorial services for Mr. Tommy Bowen, 74, of Winnsboro, LA will be 2 PM Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Winnsboro Church of Christ with Bro. Karl Huff officiating.Tommy a member of Winnsboro Church of Christ, graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1968. He loved to make up convoluted tales and sing ditties often filled with inappropriate sounds. He really loved playing with his grandchildren and great granddaughter. He took great pleasure and pride as he crafted the Church bulletin for Winnsboro Church of Christ.Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Loreen Bowen, brothers Joe Bowen, John Bowen, and Ted Bowen; brothers-in-law Scott Knight and Andy Zywicki, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jamye and L.W. 'Doc' Knight, and his precious Dachshund Ginger.He is survived by his wife of 55 years Katherine Knight Bowen of Winnsboro, LA; daughters Mikki Zellner and her husband Jonny of Wichita Falls, TX, and Bekki Hutchason and her husband Randy of Shephard, TN; brothers, Jack Bowen of Greensboro, NC and Mike Bowen of Houston TX; seven grandchildren, Ashleigh Squires and her husband Cameron, Tristan Hood, Kaitlee Zellner, Garrett Doolin, Dusty McMinn, Rachael McMinn, Rylin Hutchason; one great grandchild Saylor Squires; and very special sisters-in-law Karen Zywicki, and Kay LaFrance Knight, as well as several nieces and nephews.On line registry/condolences at www.dennardfirstnational.com
