A private family graveside service was held for Mrs. Veronica Maxwell, 67, of Delhi, LA in Crowville Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Garrett officiating under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA
Mrs. Jan was a member of Red Hill Cowboy Church-Delhi, LA. She was a retired nurse from Franklin Medical Center serving more than 40 years. Jan was preceded in death by her parents Grady Dale and Martha Jane Smith; one brother Glen Dale Smith.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Donnie Maxwell of Delhi, LA; three sons, Shannon Maxwell and his wife Jessica of Rayville, LA, Michael Hughes of West Monroe, LA, and Stacy Maxwell and his wife Whitney of Delhi, LA; four grandchildren, John Blackburn, Austin Hughes, Christopher Hughes and Emma Maxwell; five great grandchildren, Lane Blackburn, Dawson Blackburn, Haidyn Hughes, Addie Hughes and Gabriel Hughes. As well as many friends.
