Graveside services for Viola Ann Walker Bamburg, 77, of Newellton will be held 10 am Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Legion Memorial Cemetery, Newellton, with Rev. John Holdiness officiating; all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro.
Viola was born October 21, 1946, in Monticello, MS, to the union of the late Oreida Hartzog Walker and the late John Alvin Walker, and passed from this life June 24, 2024, at her residence in Newellton, surrounded by her family.
A member of Bethany Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband John Dewey Bamburg, and a son-in-law, Tony Hernandez.
Viola is survived by her daughters: Vicki Paige and husband David, Lori Hernandez, and Melinda Fuller and husband Les; grandchildren: John Adam Maxwell, David Maxwell, Brandie Eppinette, Krystal Skinner, Derek Fuller, and Dustin Fuller; great-grandchildren: Jagger Maxwell, Theodore Maxwell, Brittain Maxwell, Brooklyn Maxwell, Hayden Maxwell, Tyler Henley Fowler, Emma Fuller, Tucker Fuller, and Charlotte "Charlie" Fuller; she is also survived by an Aunt that is like a sister, Ollie Rabb; also, many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
