Graveside services for Mr. William F. Swartwout (Billy Polk), 81, of Monterey, LA will be 3 PM Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Shady Grove Cemetery Jigger, LA with Rev. Clyde Grammon officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the funeral home, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
Mr. Billy was born March 6, 1943, in Lake Providence, LA and passed away April 23, 2024 at his residence in Monterey, LA. He had a love for 18 wheelers and started driving them at the age of 15 and drove until he was 77, he enjoyed fishing with his dad, the outdoors yardwork and just sitting outside any chance he got.
He was proceeded in death his parents Shelton and Geraldine Polk, his wife of 30 years Glynda, stepdaughter, Donna Allbritton, as well as 2 sisters, Mary Alice Johnson, and Kyra Dawn Williams
Mr. Billy is survived by his daughter Nicole Myers and Guy Boone of Monterey, LA, son William Forrest Swartwout, Jr. of Bastrop, LA, daughter Tiffney Rawles and Robert of Anacoco, LA; two stepsons, Troy Kenney and Shelia, and Dewayne Kenney; stepdaughter, Shea Kenney all of Vidalia, LA; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
